Essential Job Functions:

The Behavioral Health Peer Navigator is responsible for day-to-day operations and patient support for the Valley Springs HealthWellness Center's Integrated Behavioral Health team. The Navigator coordinates behavioral health visits and services within the primary care setting. The Navigator works as a peer support specialist, providing outreach and education, ensuring that patients are made aware of outside resources and referrals to other agencies and organizations are facilitated as needed. This position needs an individual who has a strong customer service focus, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good judgement, and is a resourceful problem-solver. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, organized, compassionate, flexible, computer proficient (Microsoft Office, familiar with electronic health record systems), and comfortable working with both behavioral health and medical providers.

Pay Range: $25.00/hr - $28.00/hr Depending on experience

Benefits: Health insurance, Dental Insurance, 401K plan, vacation, sick pay, some paid holidays

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday This position is a full-time, M-F, 8-hour shift with a 1/2 hour lunch
