Water Construction Manager

We are seeking a Water Construction Manager to lead the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of ultra-pure water (UPW), deionized (DI) water, and reverse osmosis (RO) systems in high-tech facilities. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, including coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and operations teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience with water treatment systems, process piping, and operations in cleanroom or controlled environments, with a proven ability to oversee complex technical installations and maintain system reliability in mission-critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of UPW, DI, and RO water systems.
- Coordinate with project engineers, subcontractors, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and facility standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues during installation and commissioning.
- Support BIM coordination and participate in clash detection and resolution processes.
- Coordination installation and inspection of various electrical system components such as switchgear, UPS systems, generators, PDUs, bus ducts and low-voltage systems.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE), and client requirements.
- Maintain documentation for inspections, testing and commissioning.
- Assist in the commissioning and turnover of systems.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure a safe working environment.
- Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of project changes, RFIs, submittals and as-built documentation.
Qualifications:
- Experience with water treatment systems and process piping.
- Knowledge of ultra-pure water, deionized water, and reverse osmosis systems.
- Familiarity with cleanroom or controlled environment operations.
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: $75, $160,000.00 per year
