Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC systems and mechanical repair. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings including roof top units and boilers. The technician will work closely with clients to ensure their HVAC needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC units and related systems.
  • Troubleshoot HVAC issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are operating efficiently.
  • Perform equipment repairs on various HVAC components including boilers
  • Collaborate with other service technicians to diagnose complex issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of service calls and repairs performed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working in the field or on construction sites.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
  • On call for nights and weekends on a rotation

Experience

  • Proven experience as a service technician in the HVAC industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HVAC design principles and plumbing systems is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge, including experience with appliance repair and property maintenance.
  • A valid driver's license with no major violations is required for field service responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
