Temp Claims Data Analyst

Position Overview
Adams & Martin Group has partnered with a reputable DTLA law firm to find a skilled Temp Claims Data Analyst to join their busy insurance coverage practice. This temporary role is crucial for managing and analyzing claims-related data for domestic and international insurer clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel proficiency, excellent analytical and organizational skills, and will ensure accuracy and consistency across all financial and claims-tracking functions.
Responsibilities
- Create, update, and maintain detailed spreadsheets to track the status of claims, policy information, self-insured retention/deductible satisfaction, invoice submissions and payments, and policy erosion.
- Implement and maintain client-specific claims and spending-tracking spreadsheets.
- Compile and analyze monthly reports, including new suits and incidents, reserve changes, cost-of-repair assessments, and erosion of limits.
- Support attorneys in preparing client reports and financial summaries.
- Develop and maintain advanced Excel formulas, pivot tables, and reporting tools to support accurate data analysis.
Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including xlookup, pivot tables, complex formulas, and data reporting).
- Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Accounting background or knowledge of basic accounting principles is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Required Work Hours
- 7-hour day with a flexible start time
