SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide assessments, treatments, psychotherapy, case management, and referrals to a broad range of persons served, including those who are in crisis, severely mentally ill, those dealing with substance use issues and/or are co-occurring. Individual, group and family therapy are available forms of treatment. Persons served may range from children through adulthood. Support and education are provided to significant others of persons served as well.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Bachelor's degree (BS) required; in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. Strong computer skills relevant to electronic health record documentation.
Preferred: Master's degree in a human service-related field. Active Florida License (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) or working towards licensure is desired. Must have experience with mental health and/or co-occurring issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :
Maintains a professional working relationship with all persons served including a demonstrated commitment to person centered care and recovery-oriented approaches to care.
Establishes a positive, trusting rapport with persons served. Responsible for assessing and treating mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders.
Complete thorough comprehensive assessments for adults and children, as scheduled and/or needed.
Development and implementation of recovery-focused service plans, which include measurable objectives stated in appropriate terms.
Provide evidence-based brief and solution-focused individual, marital, family, and/or group therapy.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation, per agency standards.
Effectively communicate with related community service organizations to include presentations to the community, assigned.
Respond to crisis situations as needed.
Average caseload is based on program and statutory requirements.
Able to meet standard agency expectations, based on an annualized target.
Refer persons served to supportive services to supplement treatment and counseling, as needed.

• Complies with all agency policies and procedures, laws, and regulations under which Lightshare operates.
