As Maintenance Manager, you work directly with the mechanical technicians on the daily maintenance of tour boats, as well as assist in planning and executing in-season and off-season cosmetic repairs and maintenance. You will report to the General Manager of the Lake Geneva Cruise Line and the General Manager of Gage Marine.
Job Responsibilities
- Formulate, organize, and implement a schedule of regular non-mechanical maintenance for the cruise line fleet.
- Develop and implement large and small scale projects for the upkeep and upgrading of the cruise line fleet.
- Monitor and maintain the day to day maintenance of the fleet for all non-mechanical issues that arise during the normal operations of the cruise line fleet.
- Lead the non-mechanical staff by being hands-on and performing the work with the team.
- Oversee the maintenance performed by the non-mechanical maintenance staff.
- Manage the purchase and use of supplies needed for all non-mechanical maintenance.
- Report all necessary non-mechanical issues to the general manager.
WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time repair and maintenance position typically works 40-50 hours per week consisting of a variety of shifts, including weekdays, weekends during the spring, summer and fall.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience in a millwork shop, carpentry shop, and/or working knowledge of woodworking is preferred
- Experience in the application of stains, dyes, conversion varnish, pre-cat, polyurethane and waterborne coatings a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Good health and physical mobility
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
