Job Title: BILINGUAL Janitorial Cleaner

Position: Full-time

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Supervisor: Janitorial Lead

Job Summary:

The Bilingual Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment within assigned facilities. This role involves constant communication with peers and visitors, performing various cleaning tasks to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the facility.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and windowsills.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  • Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
  • Clean and maintain common areas, including break rooms and kitchens.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Janitorial Supervisor.
  • Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluetly.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role is a plus, at least 2 years.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning and maintenance interior and exterior.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
