Larson Wealth Management, a dynamic and collaborative Ameriprise Financial practice in St. Charles, IL, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paraplanner to join our team. This role offers a mix of client-facing responsibilities and behind-the-scenes financial planning support, ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and excited to contribute to a growing practice.

We are seeking a candidate with a bachelor's degree, two years of experience preferred in the industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.Candidates who are not yet licensed but working toward their Series 7 and 66 are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Support: Act as a point of contact for clients—respond to inquiries via phone or email and support a seamless client experience.
  • Financial Planning Support: Assist advisors with preparing client plans, implementing post-meeting follow-ups, and managing accounts.
  • Meeting Preparation: Prepare presentation materials and reports for client meetings using PowerPoint and other tools.
  • Team Collaboration: Support advisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional client service.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Two years in financial services or related field preferred
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Licensing: SIE preferred; Series 7 and 66 can be obtained within 6 months of hire. Open to candidates actively pursuing licensure.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
  • Client-Focused: Passion for delivering exceptional service and building lasting client relationships.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Classification: Exempt position.
  • Salary: $55,000 – $85,000, based on experience.
  • Incentives: Opportunities for bonuses and performance-based incentives.
  • Health Insurance: Coverage available for employees.
  • 401(k): Safe Harbor plan available after 1 year of employment.
  • Paid Holidays: 9 market holidays per year.
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM CT, flexible as needed.
  • Work Environment: In-office position initially, with potential for a hybrid schedule in the future.
