Primary Services is excited to announce the role of
Credit Representative
for a leading organization in the energy industry. This position plays a vital role in managing receivables, conducting credit risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The
Credit Representative
will analyze financial data, evaluate customer creditworthiness, and handle collections for residential and small commercial accounts. This role offers a blend of analytical work and customer interaction, ideal for individuals seeking a balance between financial analysis and client communication.

Responsibilities

  • Apply company credit and collection policies to assigned customer accounts.
  • Review customer files, reports, and financial documents to ensure compliance with deposit requirements.
  • Extend credit within established terms and escalate exceptions for management approval.
  • Analyze customer financial data to determine appropriate credit risk levels.
  • Conduct portfolio-level and individual account credit risk assessments.
  • Manage the follow-up and collection process for accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and communicate findings on customer complaints to support regulatory and management responses.
  • Evaluate eligibility for Public Utility Commission–mandated programs and low-income assistance.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new credit and collections processes.
  • Maintain detailed records of credit decisions, communications, and account resolutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field from an accredited university strongly preferred.
  • Six months to two years of credit and collections experience required.
  • Banking experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret contractual and financial documents.
  • Experience managing spreadsheets and databases for account analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Reliable high-speed internet for hybrid work.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency a plus.
  • Skip tracing experience a plus.

This position follows a
hybrid schedule
with 1–3 days in-office (Monday–Wednesday) and offers standard office hours of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
