Position Overview
The Logistics & Operations Coordinator ensures smooth, efficient, and cost-effective movement of products from suppliers to warehouses, and ultimately to retail partners or end consumers. This role supports cross-functional teams including Production, Merchandising, Finance, Customer Service, and Warehouse Operations. The ideal candidate excels at problem-solving, managing multiple priorities, and thriving in a fast-paced fashion environment with tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including domestic and international freight.
- Work with freight forwarders, 3PLs, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely delivery.
- Track shipments proactively and resolve delays or exceptions in real time.
- Prepare and review shipping documents (packing lists, commercial invoices, HTS codes, certificates).
- Help ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
Inventory Management
- Help monitor inventory levels across warehouses and notify teams of low-stock or high-risk items.
- Help maintain accurate inventory records in ERP or inventory management systems.
- Support cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and inventory audits.
- Coordinate warehouse transfers, restocks, and RTV (Return to Vendor) processes.
Operations & Process Management
- Assist in daily operational workflows to support production, drops, and seasonal launches.
- Assist in identifying and analyzing operational bottlenecks and propose process improvements.
- Maintain SOPs for logistics, order processing, and inventory control.
Order & Fulfillment Support
- Oversee wholesale and Retail (Monobrand) order fulfillment accuracy and timeliness.
- Resolve fulfillment issues (missing items, shipping errors, damages).
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Merchandising and Production to track PO timelines and delivery schedules.
- Help coordinate with Finance on freight invoices, and cost tracking.
- Support in communicating logistics statuses and risks to internal teams and leadership.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience in Business, Operations, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations—ideally within fashion, consumer goods, or e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of international shipping, freight terms, and customs processes.
- Proficient with ERP, WMS, or inventory systems
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (vlookups, pivots, data analysis).
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.
Preferred
- Experience working with 3PL partners.
- Knowledge of garment production timelines and fashion retail cycles.
- Experience supporting product launches, wholesale seasons, or brand drops.
