What You'll Do Day-To-Day- Ensures that procured products and services meet lead- time, price and quality criteria.
- Moves materials and products in the work area by proper handling method (including hazardous materials).
- Inputs and maintains relevant data in information systems.
- Assists and supports audits.
- Coordinates incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products and parts.
- Ensures material availability and delivery when needed to meet production schedules.
- Coordinates inbound and outbound logistical operations.
- Assists with inventory management, warehousing and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products.
- Manages and monitors inventory levels.
- Creates purchase requisitions for the acquisition of materials, supplies, and services ensuring that the materials are acquired in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Basic knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics processes, including inventory management, warehousing, packaging, handling and transportation.
- Basic communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey data.
- Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self-checking.
Total Rewards Package
- Salary: $ $27.60 per hour, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
