POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Coordinator supports One Kelvion by providing administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, ensuring consistent delivery of HR services to employees and managers. This role serves as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, coordinates daily HR processes, and supports program in recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS, employee relations, compliance, and recordkeeping. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining accurate data, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employee regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

· Act as the first point of contact for employees with questions related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, and HR systems.

· Assist with full-cycle recruitment support including posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and coordinating offers.

· Coordinate new hire onboarding and conduct orientation sessions, ensuring completion of all required documentation and compliance steps.

· Maintain employee personnel files, HRIS records, and documentation in company policies and legal requirements.

· May support leave of absence (LOA), FMLA, workers compensation, and ADA administration, including documentation tracking and communication.

· Assist with administration of benefit enrollment, changes, and employee questions.

· Coordinates employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and training logistics.

· Support compliance activities including audits, EEO reporting, I-9 verification, and policy adherence.

· Assist with performance management tracking and employee status changes.

· Partners with the HR team members and site leadership on employee relations issues by providing documentation and scheduling support.

· Provides administrative support to HR projects and initiatives, including HRIS implementation, policy rollouts, and process improvement.

· All other duties assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)

· Requires prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.

· 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience required; manufacturing or multi-site experience a plus.

· Knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.

· Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer service orientation.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS/ATS systems (e.g. ADP, SAP Success Factor) preferred.
