In this role, you will:

  • Assist the SRM team by supporting the optimization of their valuable partnerships to explore new pathways for crafting shared value.
  • Collaborate and establish positive relationships with key business partners to discover potential growth opportunities and generate value for assigned Workplace Benefits accounts.
  • Focus on purposeful segmentation of strategic partners and align resources to improve B2B relationships.
  • Communicate optimally with business partners to identify new opportunity areas and share successes.
  • Distribute relationship and market insights to business partners to manage strategic relationships more effectively.
  • Reduce operational and reputational risks by gaining a comprehensive understanding of essential relationships.
  • Facilitate strategic account planning activities and preparation to enable long-term account growth.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 3+ years of related work experience
  • Strong knowledge of group benefit products
  • Experience working in group benefits insurance sales, service, or support
  • Strong oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Candidate with strong problem-solving skills and a strategic approach to analysis
  • Experience manipulating data to conduct analysis to identify trends
  • Attention to detail and well-organized
  • Flexible and able to pivot quickly and manage multiple priorities at once
  • Ability to work independently and build strong relationships
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Willingness to travel when needed, including overnight stays
  • Life & Health insurance license required within 90 days of hire with appointment in the state of residence.

    Preferred Skills:

  • Experience modeling data
  • Advanced Excel skills – Power Pivot and Power Query
Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$ $135000 / year
Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environment

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You'll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
