Job Purpose:

Shipping, receiving & inventory maintenance in a freezer warehouse. Will be operating a forklift and must be able to work in fast pace, freezer environment.

Duties:

* Maintains safe work environment by watching for foot traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

* Must able to work in a freezer warehouse at 0 degrees. Freezer gear/suit provided.

* Retrieves supplies and materials by learning products and specifications; locating and verifying supplies and materials; load & unload trucks; moves product to production location.

* Work closely with other departments supplying raw materials for production employees.

* Maintains inventory by anticipating and tracking usage.

* Monitors inventory by reporting discrepancies.

* Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

* Accomplishes warehousing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

* Must be able to lift 60+ pounds regularly without assistance, repeatedly throughout shift.

* A team focused approach to work.

Skills/Qualifications:

Safety Management, Forklift Experience (2 years+), Documentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Inventory Control, Dependability, Initiative, Handles Pressure, Coordination, Organization, Productivity, Data Entry Skills

High School degree or GED preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
