Full-Time Driving Nanny – Livingston, NJ

A kind and welcoming family in Livingston, NJ is seeking an engaging, organized, and experienced full-time Nanny to care for their 1.5-year-old son.

Family Details

  • Mom works part-time from home; Dad works full-time in the city.
  • Mom is looking for a true partner to "divide and conquer" the day—sharing care of their son and helping with light household responsibilities (e.g., simple meal prep, dishwasher, laundry).
  • Regular housekeepers are employed.
  • Must be able to drive; a family car is provided for on-duty use.
  • The family has a friendly medium-sized dog in the home.

Schedule

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Some flexibility to work later one additional evening per week.
  • Occasional Saturday mornings, overnights, and international travel (1–2 weeks per year)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Primary Focus – 1.5-Year-Old Son

  • Provide warm, attentive, and developmentally enriching care.
  • Engage in play-based learning and age-appropriate activities such as outdoor adventures, playground outings, arts and crafts, sensory play, and reading.

When the Child Is Napping or With Mom

  • Assist with light household tasks:
  • Laundry and organization of the child's belongings
  • Loading/unloading the dishwasher
  • Tidying shared spaces
  • Simple meal preparation
  • (Regular housekeepers handle deep cleaning.)

Compensation & Benefits

  • $30/hour (guaranteed 50 hours/week; $1,500/week)
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
