Position: RN-Medical Surgical-Telemetry (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status.
• Achieve performance targets and contribute to team success.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
• Engage in continuous learning to improve nursing skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Utilize technology and tools to enhance patient care and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current California RN license with experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• Willingness to participate in continuous professional development and training.
• Proven ability to monitor and assess patient vital signs accurately.
• Experience in administering medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Demonstrated accountability for individual performance and achieving targets.
• Strong communication skills for effective patient and family education.
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare teams for effective care plan implementation.
• Ability to document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Familiarity with utilizing technology to enhance patient care efficiency.
