G&S Foods is a central PA based snack food company operating in Hanover and Abbottstown, PA. We are a co-manufacturer of sweet and salty snacks from popcorn to chocolate-covered pretzels. We are hiring Mixer Operators. Be a part of our continued Growth & Success at G&S Foods Our Mixer Operator position offers a s*table work shift throughout the year and great benefits including a $750 sign on bonus, attendance bonuses and employee appreciation events*

Our Mixer Operators are reliable team members responsible for

  • Weighing ingredients and following the recipe batches for pretzel baking
  • Place measured ingredients in industrial mixer and initiate mixing
  • Using utensils, trim dough and place on conveyor belt
  • Wash / Sanitize production equipment and utensils
  • Monitor dough extruder
  • Complete quality testing and paperwork required for the production function

Required Skills:

  • Previous food manufacturing and measuring of industrial-size batches required

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use of hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach
  • Occasionally lift, carry, and move up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.

Shift Times:

  • 2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm
