Responsibilities: See approximately 10 patients per day, allowing for true one-on-one care. Deliver advanced hands-on treatment using cutting-edge technology and modalities. Participate in a collaborative learning environment that values teaching, mentorship, and growth. Contribute to protocol development, continue clinical innovation. Help to participate in patent design and marketing of rehabilitation devices that are created by PRISM. Build lasting relationships with motivated cash-pay patients who are invested in their recovery.

Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop individualized care plans that address specific patient goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Implement treatment programs utilizing various techniques including physiotherapy, trigger point therapy, and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Provide patient education on exercises, mobility techniques, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress using EMR systems and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions from inpatient to outpatient or home care settings.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in acute care, geriatrics, pediatrics, or outpatient settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as well as medical terminology is essential.
• Familiarity with home & community care practices is a plus.
• Previous experience with EMR systems is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
