Laser Production Worker
Lightwave Laser has a laser production worker position available (12:00 PM to 8:30 PM Monday – Friday) after a training period. The position involves a variety of production tasks related to manufacturing, finishing and shipping laser cut panels in wood and metal. Job responsibilities include:
- Preparation of materials
- Peeling application tape from panels
- Assist loading and unloading panels from machines
- Sanding wood and metal panels
- Assembly, cleaning, QC
- Building crates and loading panels
We will train you, but you should have experience and interest in working with materials.

Qualifications:
- Good judgment and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail
- Able to work quickly and accurately in a production environment
- Able to work standing and sitting
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Cabinet shop or other woodworking experience helpful
- Comfortable with tools such as drills and circular saws
We are located in Santa Rosa. Some overtime/ weekend work is necessary but there is flexibility. Starting pay is $20 per hour. Health insurance (with employee contribution) starts after 30 days and vacation pay begins accruing immediately. We will not change your shift hours, or reduce you to less than 40 hours per week unless you request a change. Overtime is sometimes available, but rarely mandatory.
