Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with an automobile manufacturer in Lafayette, Indiana.

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field of study plus 1+ years relevant experience.
  • Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
  • Good communication and negotiation skills (phone/ e-mail/ group speaking)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to follow procedures and policies as set forth by the company.
  • Enjoys tactical side of the business and can work to automate or kaizen processes.
  • Adaptable and able to pivot based on new information or changing needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Indirect Parts sourcing activity (strategy, analysis, negotiation; target and schedule achievement)
  • Indirect Parts cost reduction activity (strategy, analysis, negotiation; target and schedule achievement)
  • Daily activity and support for supplier quality, delivery, development, AP/AR, service parts
  • Works closely with suppliers and departments to resolve issues critical to the supply chain.
  • Receives and lightly analyzes data (cost evaluations, benchmarking, commercial issues, risk mitigation)
  • Ability to manage MRO accounts and develop good relationships with suppliers.
  • Ability to achieve due dates and meet company objectives.
