InterStellar BBQ is looking for the right person to join our FOH team

InterStellar BBQ is a small batch barbecue restaurant in NW Austin/Cedar Park that is focused on high quality ingredients, creative sides, and fun desserts. We are a restaurant that values quality over quantity and we make the majority of all our food in house. We are a small crew that wants to work with someone who is excited about food and taking care of our customers. Having experience in a BBQ restaurant is preferred, but it is not required. We are happy to train anyone that has the right attitude and work ethic.

Job Description and Requirements:

  • This is, currently, a part time position. We are open Wednesday through Sunday. We are offering 3 shifts per week, Friday through Sunday, 10am to 2:30pm. (About 14 hours per week). Weekends and having a flexible schedule is required.

Duties:

  • Working and maintaining our pre-order/to go station for the duration of shift
  • Firing sides, packing orders, labeling containers and boxes, working alongside our dedicated cutter fulfilling pre-orders, completing order checklists/tickets, running food from pre-order station to our pre-order counter.
  • Being able to multitask, have time management skills during the shift
  • Be able to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
  • Good communication and problem solving skills
  • Being a team player in a small restaurant where team work is fundamental
  • Trustworthy, dependable and punctual
