Job Description
Senior Electrical Engineer – eBOS Product Development:
Supports the design, development, and delivery of electrical balance of system (eBOS) products across NextPower's portfolio.

This role bridges technical engineering work with cross-functional collaboration, helping to translate market and customer needs into manufacturable, high-quality solutions.

  • Contribute to the development and integration of eBOS components, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Translate product and market requirements into engineering specifications, drawings, and validation plans.
  • Support design reviews, certification activities, and prototype testing through production release.
  • Partner with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to ensure design-for-manufacturing and smooth transition to production.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in product development, electrical systems, or energy-related engineering.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and business teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with solar or renewable energy systems, particularly eBOS components.
  • Familiarity with product certification processes and electrical design validation.
  • Experience supporting design-to-manufacturing or product lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Comfort working in a global, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
