What you'll do

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
  • Support banquet and catering events by preparing food items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Participate in cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work surfaces.
  • Help with bussing tables during peak service times to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests.

Basic qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience in restaurant or hotel kitchens is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with culinary techniques and food service practices.
  • Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
