About the Role

Columbia River Hot Tubs is a premier provider of premium Bullfrog brand hot tubs, saunas, swim spas, and cold plunges in the Portland-Vancouver area. We're hiring an Internet Lead Sales Representative who is an absolute master at converting warm, qualified internet leads (from digital ads, website forms, and manufacturer sources) into in-person showroom appointments and high-value sales. The Internet Lead Sales Representative receives a majority of the leads from the CRM and demonstrate a higher closing ratio of internet leads vs the rest of the staff.

This is a in-person showroom based role with no remote options—expect daily customer interactions, product demos, and occasional local events. We prioritize candidates with proven commissioned sales experience in big-ticket items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expertly handle and follow up on warm internet leads (web inquiries, ads, manufacturer referrals) with rapid, personalized outreach to book in-person and zoom showroom visits and achieve high close rates.
  • Conduct consultative, enthusiastic presentations and live demonstrations of hot tubs, saunas, swim spas, and cold plunges.
  • Represent the company at local wellness/community events to generate leads and drive showroom traffic.
  • Upsell watercare services, chemicals, filters, covers, and accessories to boost commissions and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist walk-in customers with expert guidance on products, maintenance, and related items.
  • Update CRM with detailed lead notes, interactions, and progress for team collaboration.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Required: 2+ years of proven commissioned sales experience with big-ticket items ($10,000+ average sale price) – must have a strong track record of closing high-value deals.
  • Highly preferred: Prior experience in the Pool and Spa industry, automotive dealerships, RV dealerships, or similar high-ticket retail environments—candidates from these backgrounds often excel here due to transferable skills in consultative selling, lead nurturing, objection handling, and earning uncapped commissions on large purchases.
  • Mastery in managing and converting warm/qualified internet leads (consistent digital follow-up, rapid response, high conversion).
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and confidently explain features/benefits of hot tubs, saunas, swim spas, and cold plunges.
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, with a history of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Flexible for rotating schedules (including weekends) and ability to commute between Vancouver, WA showroom and upcoming Portland-area location. Fully in-person only—no remote applicants will be considered.
