Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. A strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha and Micros, along with excellent time management skills, is essential to succeed in this position. The minimum wage for a bartender is 7.01 per hour when you add your tips in that is where the $23.34 for minimum comes in and the maximum of $40.00. These are estimates that can go up or down either way based on your service abilities

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha and Micros
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere while providing attentive customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol service policies
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service
  • Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively during busy hours, demonstrating strong time management skills

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math, and basic calculations related to sales and inventory
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Experience in serving alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations
  • Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods; multitasking is essential
  • Previous experience with catering or food industry operations is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences
