Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the skills necessary to provide a safe and nurturing environment for pets. As a Kennel Assistant, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility, ensuring that all animals receive the highest level of care and attention.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and common spaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the shift lead or manager.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service.
- Assist with bathing and other spa services
Requirements
- Previous experience in animal handling or care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with kennel operations or veterinary environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Compassionate attitude towards animals with a commitment to their welfare.
