Parts Counter Inside Sales

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Counter / Inside Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate can be Male or Female and will be responsible for greeting customers into our La Mirada, CA Branch, entering customer orders, pulling inventory, fulfilling customer orders and finalizing these types of customer transactions. There are also other duties that will keep you busy throughout the workday such as, managing incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a smooth flow of goods in the branch as well as handling inter-branch inventory transfers. This role is crucial for supporting our sales department and ensuring that all sales orders are processed with the greatest efficiently. Thorough training will be provided. English/Spanish preferable.

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers with a Fantastic Attitude.
• Enter Customer Orders, pick / pull inventory for Customer orders.
• Finalize sales transactions by accepting payments in all forms.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Utilize MRP systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
• Operate pallet jacks and RF scanners to facilitate the movement of goods.
• Assist in order picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
• Maintain an organized sales counter, retail area, receiving area, warehouse areas and shipping areas to ensure efficient operations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of customer orders.
• Perform regular inventory counts and assist with stock management tasks.
• Utilize NetSuite ERP for data entry.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in Customer Service. Also, experience in Parts Counter Sales is preferable. Shipping and receiving or within a distribution center is preferred.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and equipment such as order pickers is a plus.
• Experience using MRP systems, RF scanners, and NetSuite software is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

This is a career opportunity for the correct individual. Having prior customer service experience is a requirement. Having an assertive and persistent style of communicating will be a benefit also. Bi-lingual Spanish/English is required. We are seeking only one individual at this time, female or male. Having a background in heavy industry is not required. However, this individual must be able to learn and understand factory process and application throughout the facility. Most importantly, this individual must be able to maintain business relationships over a long period of time.

We will provide thorough and rigorous training about product application and our industrial business world. You must, however, be a people person from the start. Compensation will begin with an hourly rate or pay (plus commissions/bonuses) based upon experience. As you gain more knowledge and become a productive part of our staff, you may be compensated by Annual Salary. Also, you will be eligible to receive a higher commission/bonus rate during the month. This compensation level will allow you to participate in our Sick Pay / PTO Plan. Additionally, you then eventually qualify to participate in our Group Medical Plan.
