As a Protective Communications Global Portfolio Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Collaborating with a large cross-functional team to achieve business and financial objectives.
• Developing strategies to accelerate penetration in priority segments.
• Establishing portfolio priorities and portfolio roadmaps to unlock significant growth potential.
• Leading game-changing NPIs (new product introductions) informed by deep customer insights.
• Managing the execution of the overall product/portfolio strategy and division marketing plan process.
• Partnering with Area Portfolio Leaders/Marketers and Segment Marketers to operationalize strategic initiatives.
• Managing all stages of the product portfolio life cycle, from concept through profit optimization and product rationalization.
• Driving growth through global, area, and country teams in priority markets.
• Developing and executing global pricing corridors.
• Assessing and tracking the competitive landscape.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
• Five (5) years of experience in product marketing/management in a private, public, government or military environment
• Three (3) years of profit and loss business management experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• MBA or Marketing degree from an accredited university with an emphasis in marketing, business, or strategy
• Experience in leading new product development teams and commercializing new products
• Proven track record of leading change management in portfolio and business strategy
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with various functional and area partners to drive business results
• Familiarity with working in regulated industries

Work location:

• Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.

Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international travel

Relocation: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
