Responsibilities:

The ARMHS Practitioner at Open Mind Center will provide Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services aimed at improving psychiatric stability, social competencies, personal and emotional adjustment, and independent living and community skills when these abilities are impaired by symptoms of mental illness. Service areas include: interpersonal communication skills, community resource utilization and integration, crisis assistance, relapse prevention, budgeting and shopping skills, healthy lifestyle practices, cooking and nutrition skills, transportation skills, medication education and monitoring, symptom management, household management, employment-related skills, and transition to community living services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 2,000 hours of verified work experience providing services and support to individuals with mental illness, traumatic brain injury, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders.
  • Or, a Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university.
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Salary: $25.00 per hour
