Medical Assistant – Med Spa

Location: Atlanta, GA

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our growing team and support both clinical and administrative operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist providers with client check-in, intake, assessments, and medical history documentation.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and ensure a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment.
  • Support aesthetic and wellness procedures, including injectables, laser treatments, body contouring, and other med spa services.
  • Provide pre- and post-treatment education to patients, ensuring a clear understanding of care instructions.
  • Accurately document treatments, medications, and follow-up care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Handle clinical supplies: stocking, inventory, ordering, and ensuring compliance with sterilization and safety standards.
  • Perform vital signs checks, phlebotomy (if applicable), and basic clinical testing.
  • Assist in coordinating patient scheduling, follow-up calls, and customer service support as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent state credential required.
  • Prior experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or aesthetics practice preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, EMR systems, and clinical best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and commitment to maintaining a luxury patient experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $26.74 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
