Experienced Budtender / Cannabis Sales Associate

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Budtender to join our fast-paced retail team. This role combines customer-facing sales with hands-on inventory support, making it ideal for someone who understands both the sales floor and behind-the-scenes retail operations.

As a front-line representative of our brand, you will guide customers through product selection, provide accurate education, and support daily inventory flow to ensure products are stocked, organized, and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with informed, personalized cannabis product recommendations
• Educate customers on flower, edibles, vapes, concentrates, and accessories
• Process transactions accurately using a POS system, including cash handling
• Upsell complementary products when appropriate and ethical
• Maintain organized, well-stocked, and visually appealing displays
• Support inventory operations, including:
• Restocking and front-of-house replenishment
• Product rotation (FIFO) and basic freshness checks
• Assisting with intake, counts, and discrepancy reporting as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers in person and by phone
• Follow all California cannabis regulations and responsible sales practices

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Budtender or retail sales associate (cannabis preferred)
• Working knowledge of cannabis products and consumption methods
• Comfort handling inventory tasks in a retail environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Weekend availability required
• Must be legally eligible to work in a licensed California cannabis dispensary

Bilingual skills are a plus.
