Job Summary

Jet beauty supply store seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized sales floor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
  • Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring that merchandise is displayed attractively.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to perform product demos to engage customers effectively.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
