Client Care Coordinator – NOC Shift (Mon–Fri, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM)

Location: Laguna Beach, CA

Job Type: Full-Time (5 days per week)

Compensation: $24–$26/hr + benefits

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, attentive, and client-centered Client Care Coordinator to join our dedicated team at a respected Substance Use Disorder (SUD) detox and residential treatment facility in Laguna Beach, CA. The Client Care Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the safety, structure, and therapeutic environment of the program by conducting safety rounds, documenting client progress, supporting clinical operations, and fostering a compassionate, recovery-oriented atmosphere for all clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct scheduled safety rounds and maintain a secure environment throughout the facility.
  • Monitor client behavior, mood, and engagement; promptly report concerns to clinical or nursing staff.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in Kipu and follow all facility protocols.
  • Support clients with daily living needs, encourage program participation, and model healthy, recovery-oriented behavior.
  • Assist nursing and clinical teams with client coordination, admissions, discharges, and general milieu management.
  • Uphold all facility policies, including HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards.
  • Respond appropriately to client crises, behavioral escalations, or medical concerns, following staff direction and facility procedures.
  • Facilitate clear communication during shift reports to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas and support a stable, therapeutic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in substance abuse treatment, residential programs, or behavioral health settings (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Kipu EMR, safety round protocols, and residential treatment operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills; compassionate and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently overnight and remain attentive throughout the NOC shift.
  • Reliability, accountability, and strong documentation skills are essential.
  • RADT/SUDRC or equivalent
  • CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).

Schedule:

  • Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM
  • Full-time with benefits
