Job Summary

Invision Construction and Development is a niche general contractor specializing in the construction of light commercial projects throughout central Florida. Projects include both ground up development as well as interior buildouts and renovations. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager in our Lake Mary office to oversee and manage these projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction management processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Preconstruction responsibilities including developing scope of work, sending out invitations to bid, facilitating requests for information, leveling subcontractor bids and preparing proposal to the client
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
  • Develop project schedule and update weekly.
  • Price change orders as needed for changes to the project scope.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize construction management software for project management, estimating, scheduling, documentation and managing workflows.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Review project blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of design specifications.
  • Process project submittals for ensure accuracy with project specifications.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Conduct weekly OAC meetings and provide reports on project status

Qualifications

  • At least three years experience in commercial project management with a local general contractor.
  • Possess both ground up and interior buildout out experience.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management and scheduling software including Bluebeam and MS Project.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in construction management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $84, $108,000.00 per year
