Junior Pre-K Lead Teacher – Full Time

Camden Academy

Camden Academy is seeking a warm, energetic, and dedicated Junior Pre-K Lead Teacher to join our team full-time We are a family-oriented preschool with a supportive environment, amazing staff, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality early childhood education.

Position Details

  • Full-Time, Monday–Friday
  • Pay Range: $15.00–$16.50 per hour (based on experience & credentials)
  • Beautiful facility, supportive administration, and a fun, collaborative team

Qualifications

Education & Credentials

  • High school diploma required
  • CDA preferred or required
  • TCC, TCD, or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is a plus

Experience

  • 1–2 years in a licensed childcare center
  • Experience with 3–4 year olds preferred
  • Ability to implement engaging activities and follow GELDS standards

Skills

  • Strong classroom management
  • Ability to create a warm, structured learning environment
  • Excellent communication with children, families, and coworkers
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
  • Familiarity with Bright From The Start (BFTS) guidelines

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a state background check
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Able to lift 25–30 lbs and meet classroom physical demands
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
