IodiTech is a leading specialty chemical manufacturer located in Kansas City.

We are searching for a chemical operator who possesses a solid understanding of chemical processes and mechanics. As a Chemical Operator you can expect to work as an integral part of the production team. You will be responsible for retrieving, weighing, and mixing chemical raw materials. Then monitoring equipment during the chemical reaction process and possible minor repairs equipment should problems arise. Additionally, you will be responsible for recording information about equipment and reactions in the batching process.

To be successful as a chemical operator, you should be professional with a strong understanding of mechanical and chemical processes. The ideal candidate will be attentive, knowledgeable, and have a desire to work with other production members to follow the best processes to safely produce quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Batching processes
  • In-process testing
  • Identify conforming or non-forming materials and batches
  • Equipment cleaning to ensure no contamination occurs
  • Record and track material usage
  • Follow standard operating procedures and batch records
  • Familiarity with quality standards associated with ISO certification
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Reports to production manager

Qualifications

  • Batch making
  • Chemical manufacturing
  • Forklift certification
  • Basic chemistry knowledge
  • Understanding of Quality principals
  • Understanding of FDA/ISO Regulations
  • Able to lift and move heavy items
