We're looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team:

  • Drive Innovation: Bring a mindset of continuous improvement to our finance processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and automate manual tasks.
  • Improve Retention: Contribute to a culture of reliability, clarity, and support by maintaining accurate financial data and helping teams make informed decisions.
  • Accelerate Delivery: Own critical day-to-day accounting tasks, freeing up bandwidth for strategic initiatives across the Finance team.
What You'll Do:
  • Own the full accounts payable cycle—from invoice processing to vendor management, payment scheduling, and reconciliation.
  • Review and approve expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Manage sales tax and economic nexus tracking and reporting.
  • Support month-end and year-end close, including accruals, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
  • Partner with FP&A and leadership on reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, audit processes, and compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Support ad-hoc projects such as system implementations (e.g., ERP integrations, cash flow analysis, and tax filings.
  • Mentor junior team members and help build scalable, repeatable accounting processes.
What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least one year in a senior-level or AP-focused role.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and ASC 606.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with accounting and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a growth-stage company.
  • Collaborative, curious, and adaptable — you enjoy working cross-functionally to solve problems.
  • Prior experience in SaaS or tech environments preferred.

Preferred locations:

L2L practices a remote-first approach while offering office space in Burlington, MA. Due to the collaborative nature of this role, we are looking for someone who can commute to the Burlington, MA office 1x per week.
