Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. Fort Wayne, IN based TJ Nowak Supply Company has been serving the tri-state region since 1946. Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study, or 3 to 5 years professional sales experience, or 5 years of fire and/or alarm system install experience
- Prior outside sales and cold calling success
- Demonstrated prospecting ability
- Exceptional customer service, thoroughness and self-motivation
- Good decision-making skills, very organized and detail oriented
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, municipal codes, operating & maintenance instructions, and system manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM applications
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clear driving record
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Conduct outside sales activities, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to generate leads.
- Manage accounts by building strong relationships with clients and providing exceptional customer service.
- Utilize CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional efforts.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business development strategies.
Upon hire, the Sales Representative will accompany our field teams and acquire the technical competence necessary before working in their assigned region. Compensation will be salary plus commission after your paid training period.

Pay: $40, $90,000.00 per year
