Clinician - Adult Behavioral Health Residential

Spurwink is seeking a clinician to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team serving adults with mental health and substance use needs in a residential setting in Portland. This is a full-time year-round position providing individual, group, and family counseling to individuals with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use needs in a residential program setting. Clinicians work in partnership with the program team to help individuals meet their recovery goals. Clinicians participate in supervision, staff meetings and professional growth opportunities. This position pays between $65,000-$70,000 depending on experience.
In this role there are no required productivity hours
DUTIES:
- Review, screen, and process new client admissions in collaboration with Program Director and Medication Room Manager.
- Work collaboratively with the Associate Director in running team meetings.
- Oversee the clinical care of the clients.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and treatment planning.
- Facilitate groups.
- Many opportunities to learn multiple treatment modalities (ACT, DBT, NVC, MI, and CPT).
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree from an accredited school. Clinical licensure of: LMSW-CC, LCSW, LCPC-C, LCSW. Maine state alcohol and drug counselor certification preferred. 1- 2 years of relevant work experience preferred (i.e., mental health, social services). Must maintain required licensing and certification throughout the duration of employment with Spurwink in this role.
