Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic Commercial Director to lead business growth in the Tampa market and support national commercial initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional with expertise in business development, client relationship management, and commercial operations. The successful candidate will leverage Tampa's tourism, healthcare, and logistics sectors to identify opportunities, build partnerships, and achieve measurable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies tailored to Tampa and the surrounding Central Florida region, aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and partnership agreements to strengthen regional market presence.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, and product teams to achieve business and financial goals.
  • Analyze local market trends and customer insights to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders in the region.
  • Oversee revenue forecasting, budgeting, and commercial performance tracking.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing commercial team.
  • Ensure all commercial activities comply with legal, ethical, and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial leadership, business development, or similar roles.
  • Proven record of driving revenue growth in competitive markets.
  • Strong negotiation, financial, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience managing hybrid and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Tampa's business ecosystem and key industries is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $165,000 – $175,000 (based on experience)
  • Annual Bonus: 10–20% of base salary
