Job Description
FOX Sports Digital is seeking a Product Manager I to help shape the digital future of sports. This is an opportunity to start your product management career inside one of the most dynamic environments in sports and media, delivering fan-first experiences across NFL, MLB, FIFA World Cup, and more.
About Fox Sports Digital
FOX Sports is home to innovation in live sports, storytelling, and fan engagement. We're building digital products that connect millions of fans to the moments, communities, and experiences they love — across NFL, MLB, FIFA World Cup, IndyCar, NCAA football, and more.
Our product team thrives at the intersection of creativity, data, and craft. This is your chance to help shape the digital future of sports while developing as a world-class product professional.
About The Role
FOX Sports Digital is seeking a Product Manager I to join our product team. This is an opportunity to start your product management career inside one of the most dynamic environments in sports and media. You'll work alongside senior product managers, engineers, designers, data analysts, and editorial partners to discover and deliver fan-first solutions that drive engagement and business impact.
This isn't a role for a "feature administrator." It's for someone who wants to learn and practice true product management craft: writing great user stories, framing opportunities, grounding decisions in data, and championing the fan experience. You will be coached and developed to grow into a product leader who can own outcomes, not just outputs.
a Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities
- Practice user-centered discovery: Participate in research and analytics reviews to understand fan needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Frame opportunities: Translate observations and data into clear problem statements, hypotheses, and opportunity cases.
- Write and refine user stories: Develop actionable, well-scoped stories with acceptance criteria that articulate why the work matters, not just what needs to be built.
- Support roadmap execution: Partner with senior PMs to move initiatives forward, ensuring clarity between discovery and delivery.
- Collaborate deeply: Work side-by-side with engineering, design, and data to align on outcomes, define MVPs, and iterate quickly.
- Test and learn: Ship small, measurable experiments in partnership with analytics and growth teams; track outcomes against hypotheses.
- Advocate for the fan: Be the voice of the user in conversations with internal partners, ensuring our products create real fan value.
- Build product craft: Engage with the FOX Sports product practice — learning frameworks like Jobs To Be Done, outcome-driven roadmapping, and backlog rigor.
What You Will Need
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (technical, business, or related field preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and persuasively.
- Demonstrated curiosity and analytical ability — comfortable asking "why," digging into data, and forming insights.
- Interest in sports and the role digital products play in how fans engage with them.
- Ability to collaborate across functions with empathy and clarity.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Eagerness to learn product management craft: discovery, user story writing, prioritization, and experimentation.
About You
- A product thinker who cares about outcomes, not just features.
- Someone who sees sports as more than games — they are experiences, communities, and identities.
- A team player who is energized by feedback, iteration, and growth.
- A builder who wants to learn the frameworks, practices, and habits that make great product managers.
WHY JOIN US
- Work on products tied to the biggest sports moments in the world.
- Develop your craft in an environment that values rigor, clarity, and fan-first thinking.
- Learn directly from experienced product leaders committed to mentoring the next generation of product talent.
- Be part of a culture that blends the fast pace of sports with the discipline of great product management.
