Description

The Assumption University Theology Department seeks a qualified instructor to teach one or more sections of the course "THE-100 – Introduction to Theology" for the Spring 2026 semester. Each iteration of this course should provide a broad overview of Catholic theology, with a focus on major Christian doctrines (Trinity, Christology, sacramental theology, ecclesiology etc.).

Each section must also cover a significant portion of Augustine of Hippo's Confessions.

Requirements:

Qualified instructors will possess at least a Master's degree in Theology (or an ecclesiastical equivalent thereof), if not also a doctoral degree. The sections in need of staffing will run in person on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule, and the instructor will be provided office space from which to conduct required office hours, as well as any other related work.
