Position Summary:

The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for ensuring the highest degree of quality care for our residents while effectively managing the daily operations and financial performance of the organization. This individual will provide strategic leadership to all staff, promote a culture of excellence, and ensure that all regulatory standards and policies are consistently met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to department heads and staff members.
  • Maintain a high level of resident satisfaction through the promotion of person-centered care and service excellence.
  • Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a positive organizational culture that emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with residents, families, staff, and the Board of Trustees.

Qualifications:

  • Current Ohio Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in long-term care administration, preferably in a not-for-profit or CCRC environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care and organizational excellence.
