Sales & Marketing Lead – New Business

1. Purpose of the Position
The Sales & Marketing Lead – New Business is responsible for driving new client acquisition for Steeldeck Inc.'s sales and rental divisions through proactive lead generation, marketing strategy, and digital outreach. This role also oversees all marketing activities, including SEO, website management, email campaigns, and social media content, to strengthen Steeldeck's brand visibility and generate qualified inbound leads.
2. Duties & Responsibilities
Sales / Lead Generation
- Research and identify new business opportunities in entertainment, events, theater, film/TV production, education, and corporate sectors.
- Generate a minimum of 20 qualified new leads per month through direct outreach (calls, emails, networking).
- Convert a minimum of 10% of qualified leads into quotes and maintain a pipeline of at least 3 months of forecasted opportunities.
- Maintain and update CRM database with 100% accuracy.
- Represent Steeldeck Inc. at trade shows, industry mixers, and networking events to expand contacts and visibility.
Marketing & Digital Strategy
- SEO & Website Optimization
- Perform quarterly keyword research and maintain an SEO strategy that increases organic website traffic by 10% over 6 months.
- Work with internal or external partners to ensure on-page SEO, meta descriptions, and alt tags are optimized.
- Publish 1–2 new case studies, blog posts, or project spotlights per month to drive search traffic and showcase expertise.
- Social Media & Content
- Manage and grow Steeldeck's social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and others as needed).
- Post 1-2 times per week with engaging, brand-aligned content showcasing products, rentals, client projects, and industry insights.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries within 24 hours.
- Grow social media audience by 10% year-over-year.
- Email & Digital Campaigns
- Develop and execute at least one targeted email campaign per month to past and potential clients.
- Achieve open rates of 25%+ and click-through rates of 5%+ on email campaigns.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Provide monthly reports covering lead generation numbers, sales conversion rates, website traffic, SEO performance, and social media growth.
- Recommend adjustments to campaigns and strategy based on analytics.
