We are a small CPA firm located in Canton, MA currently seeking an experienced income tax preparer and reviewer for the upcoming tax season for immediate hire. Must have at least 5-7 years of tax preparation experience in a public accounting setting, with the ability to process returns quickly and efficiently with limited supervision. The position is mostly in-office with opportunity for hybrid work for the right candidate. A commitment of at least 45 hours per week including Saturdays is required.

Required criteria:

  • 5-7 years of individual and corporate tax preparation including Forms 1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065, 1041, and 990 along with supporting forms and schedules
  • Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • CPA licensure (Preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, and tax preparation software (Required)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable with contacting clients for information
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Confidentiality is essential to this position

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $ $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 60 per week
