Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving environments, including manual transmission and refrigerated trailers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Duties

  • Operate tractor-trailers to transport goods.
  • Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
  • Navigate assigned routes efficiently while maintaining compliance with delivery schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transport.
  • Communicate effectively team members regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
  • Utilize forklift equipment when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving principles.
  • Experience with refrigerated trailers is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols at all times.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines effectively.

Pay: From $0.40 per mile

Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
