We are seeking to fill an Intern – Structures & Dynamics Engineering role for Summer 2026 in its Los Angeles, CA Space Headquarters.

Summer internships will start in approximately May/June and end in August/September.

Projects will focus on areas of structural dynamics analysis within the Structures & Dynamics (S&D) discipline. Tasks will vary but may include setup and operation of various finite element based analysis simulations to determine the loads and deflections of liquid rocket engine propulsion systems and components and analysis of measured test data from operation, all under the supervision of senior engineering staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (or similar program) and returning to school upon completion of the assignment.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $25/hr - $47.50/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including relocation stipend, 401(k), EAP, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
