Product team and seeking Product Owners at both intermediate and senior levels to support the Claims, Disputes, and Fraud Operations Product Group. These roles play a key part in product development, optimization, and delivery within an Agile environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in scrum ceremonies, write user stories, and contribute directly to shaping product roadmaps and customer experiences.

This is a high-visibility project with the potential to convert to full-time after the initial contract period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Managers to identify and evaluate new product opportunities.
  • Participate in discovery activities, user research, and journey mapping to support product roadmap decisions.
  • Write clear and detailed requirements, epics, and user stories for development teams.
  • Analyze product metrics related to timeline, cost, and quality throughout the product life cycle.
  • Assess upstream and downstream impacts of new product features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, design, analytics, etc.) to support successful delivery.
  • Attend and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including standups, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Support feature delivery using JIRA or similar Agile tracking tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Intermediate Level (602): 1+ year of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or related Agile role.
  • Senior Level (603): 3+ years of product management or relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
  • Knowledge of the product development life cycle.
  • Ability to analyze data and use metrics to guide decision-making.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Columbus, OH (or Wilmington, DE for select openings).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with JIRA or similar product tracking tools.
  • Background in feature delivery or operations-related products.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $ $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
