Cable & Hook Lift Roll-off Driver (Manual Transmission)

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year's experience with Cable Lift (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year's experience with Hook Lift systems or similar waste hauling equipment (e.g., dump trucks).
• Valid CDL-A or CDL-B with Air Brake Certification.
• Valid DOT Medical Card /DOT-compliant: Must have a valid Med Card and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Clean Driving Record: No major traffic violations or accidents.
• Proficiency with Smartphones & Apps: Comfortable using technology for work order dispatch and communication.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience as a CDL driver.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Ability to pass a company driving test.
• All candidates must pass a pre-employment DOT drug screening and a criminal background check, including a review of their motor vehicle record (MVR).

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Roll-Off Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate a roll-off truck to transport waste materials, ensuring safe and efficient handling. The ideal candidate will have experience with roll-off trucks, cable lift systems (required), and waste hauling operations. You will also engage with customers, communicate with dispatch, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Truck Operation: Safely operate a roll-off truck (cable & hook) to transport waste materials to and from customer sites.
• Tarping & Securing Containers: Ensure dumpsters are properly tarped and securely fastened for transport.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle.
• Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with customers to confirm container placement and pickup schedules.
• Route Communication: Maintain communication with the dispatcher to receive routing updates and provide status reports.
• End-of-Shift Documentation: Accurately complete and submit all required end-of-shift tickets.
