Department Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our Restaurant Experience team as the Senior Director Global Operations. This role will play a critical part in shaping and executing McDonald's corporate-owned restaurant (McOpCo) strategy across global markets. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in operations, finance, and franchising, and will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving alignment, performance, and reinvestment decisions across McOpCo markets.
Responsibilities
- Shape and execute McDonald's short- and long-term McOpCo strategy using data, operational insights, and franchising expertise.
- Advise senior leadership on global operations and franchising matters, leveraging deep cross-functional knowledge.
- Lead strategic projects focused on scaling management tools, frameworks, and standardized ways of working across McOpCo markets.
- Influence the development of global policies, procedures, and guidelines to support a consistent McOpCo operating model.
- Negotiate high-impact agreements with long-term implications for the organization.
- Collaborate across disciplines and geographies to align stakeholders and drive resolution on complex issues.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in operations, finance, and/or franchising, ideally within a global QSR brand.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven success in strategic advisory or transformation roles.
- Experience working in global, matrixed organizations and navigating multi-market environments.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead through influence and drive change without direct authority.

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $193,610 - $251,690 per year
